Meet the Doctors


David S. Patterson, DDS

                Dr. David Patterson received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Elon University and completed his graduate dental degree from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 1982.  He is a member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society and the Alamance-Caswell Dental Society.  Dr. David has also served on the Board of Directors for the UNC Dental Alumni Association and the Alamance County Board of Health.  Born in Roanoke, Virginia, Dr. David moved to Burlington at the age of 5 and has since been a lifelong resident of Alamance County.  He and his wife, Ruth, have 3 sons, 3 grandsons and 2 granddaughters.  He enjoys time with family, boating, travel, playing electric guitar and spending time at the coast. You will not catch Dr. David in the office much these days, unless he is here for his own dental appointment or the occasional social visit :-)

Stuart M. Patterson, DDS

                Dr. Stuart Patterson received his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice from Appalachian State University and completed his graduate dental degree from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2006.  He is a member of American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society and the Alamance-Caswell Dental Society.  A Burlington native, Dr. Stuart and his wife, Crissy, have 1 daughter (Emily).  He enjoys time with family, being outdoors, and spending time in the mountains.

Nathan W. Patterson, DDS

                Dr. Nathan Patterson received his undergraduate degree in Biology from UNC-Chapel Hill and completed his graduate degree from UNC-Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 2014.  He is a member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society.  During his last year of school Dr. Nathan was selected by the director of Operative Dentistry to be a teaching assistant in the Conservative Operative Dentistry course, helping teach pre-doctoral dental students learn the basics of restorative dentistry.  A Burlington native, Dr. Nathan and his wife, Tiffany, have one son (Nolan) and one daughter (Finley).  He enjoys spending time with friends and family, sports, and traveling. Dr. Nathan’s wife (Tiffany) is a doctor of physical therapy and is currently a home health physical therapist, so be on the lookout for her if you’ve had a recent joint replacement as she may just end up as your therapist.
